Olive B. Loss Elementary of Newark
My child's school, Olive B Loss Elementary, installed a walking path adjacent to their playground area. Each class has assigned time on the walking path and students earn "foot" charms in various colors once they have walked a certain number of laps on the walking path.

Southern Elementary School of New Castle
My daughter attends Southern Elementary School. The cafeteria offers fresh fruits and salads. The kids can choose between milk and water. The children are limited to the amount of snacks they can buy. I personally think this is a good decision because it helps them make better choices when it comes to eating.
