We know it will be a challenge to change TV viewing habits, so we’ve compiled a bunch of resources to help you get started.

  • Remember the 2 in 5-2-1-Almost None: limit screen time to no more than two hours per day.
  • 2 Wheel” – Have all family members fill out different types of activities they can do alone or with the family that don’t involve a screen.
  • Book List – This is a great list of children’s books with topics around healthy eating, limiting television, physical activity, and our 5-2-1-Almost None healthy lifestyle formula.
  • Instead of TV” – A great activity sheet for your little ones to express fun things to do besides watching TV.
  • TV budget – At the start of each week, have all family members fill out a TV budget and stick to it.
